Hi, I'm Mirek. An IT Architect from Ostrava who still gets his hands dirty. And enjoys it.
20+ years in IT, most of them as an architect at UNIQA CZ/SK — with a background in economics and project management that helps me connect technology with business reality. I design systems from first brief to production, not just on paper. Plus the Tech Lead edge: unifying engineering practices, mentoring, and coordinating delivery across teams.
Outside the enterprise world, I focus on AI/GenAI, AI agents, automation, and full-stack development. I do it because I enjoy it — and because an architect who never builds anything eventually loses touch with reality. Both the technical and the business kind.
Hockey is my thing too — either on the ice or in the stands. My best team though is at home.
